Susanna Liisa Onoper
Susanna began her musical journey at the Estonian Television Children’s Music Studio, where she sang from the age of five to fourteen. She started playing piano at seven and later chose to pursue music more seriously while studying at Tallinn Music High School, graduating as valedictorian in 2019.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Piano from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2022 and continued in chamber music. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Piano at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Throughout her studies, she has received awards in national and international competitions as a soloist, accompanist, and ensemble musician. She also plays the harpsichord and has extensive experience performing in ensembles, accompanying instrumentalists, singers, choirs, and orchestras.
With years of experience in both solo and collaborative music-making, she brings a teaching style shaped by discipline, creativity, and joy. She aims to help students of all ages and levels feel confident and comfortable at the piano, whether they are interested in classical music, accompaniment, improvisation, or personal expression.
With nearly a decade of accompaniment experience and over five years of teaching, she focuses on building strong technique while encouraging individuality and musical curiosity. Her goal is to support each student in discovering their own voice and growing with confidence.
